To the left is my brochure that I created for my media campaign project. On the front of my brochure, I provided persuading phrases to encourage a victim to want to take a look inside and learn more. On the second page, I included what the Refuge House has to offer and what they can do for the women that need help. On the third page of my brochure, I provided two statistics that prove that these women are not alone and that domestic violence and sexual assault occur daily. Finally, on the backside of the brochure, I provided the Refuge House’s email, phone numbers, address, and some inspirational words so that someone can keep this brochure and get in contact with the Refuge House whenever they need to. I also placed two pictures on the brochure that were not too graphic. I thought if a women who has dealt with, or is dealing with domestic violence or sexual assault were too see this brochure, strong words or pictures that are too graphic might entice past experiences or produce sadness. I also used encouraging and persuading phrases because I believe that it would help women build the strength to contact the Refuge House so that they can receive the help that they so desperately need. In my brochure, I chose to incorporate bright colors because I wanted to show that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that everything would get better with some help from the Refuge House. 

To the left, I provided the flyer I created for my media campaign project. I think my flyer simply gets to my point. It does not include a ton of information but it says just enough. I used greys, white and red in my design to give it a simple effect. I also incorporated a photo of girl to manifest the idea that I am speaking solely to women. I chose to create my flyer in these specific ways to entice someone in the abusive predicament. On my flyer, I included a little blurb about what the Refuge House does to help these victims. I also included the Refuge House’s phone number so that women would not think too much about their circumstance and would immediately give a call. I tried to keep my word choice as respectable and clean as I possibly could.  I think it would be effortless for victims to see my flyers. 

For my last media campaign, I created a Facebook page. I decided to create a Facebook page because they are easily disseminated and can incorporate as much information as needed. On the Facebook page, I was able to include videos, photos, facts, and persuading information. It was very easy for me to create and navigate the Facebook page because I am already on Facebook myself.
